District Grants support service activities or humanitarian projects in which clubs or the district wish to support. 2. Each project must comply by: a. Adhering to the grant policies which govern all Rotary grant programs. b. Respecting the wishes of the receiving community. c. Focusing on ONLY ONE specific activity within the current year. 3. District Grants require the direct involvement of Rotarians by: a. Assessing community needs and developing a project plan. b. Establishing a committee of a minimum of two (2), but three (3) Rotarians are suggested in case one is unavailable to oversee the project. c. Overseeing the expenditure of grant funds. d. Involving Rotarians in the implementation of the project. e. Providing evidence of community involvement and ownership. f. Organizing meetings with local service providers, officials, and/or recipients of the benefits of the project. g. Promoting the project in local and social media. 4. Recipients of District Grants shall submit a final report by Monday, June 1, 2026, by 5:00PM, or upon the completion of the project and the expenditure of the grant funds. 5.
