Chef Information & Event Guidelines
We are thrilled to welcome you as a chef at our
4th Annual Passport Around the World International Cuisine Fundraiser
in support of Student Scholarships! Your participation is truly invaluable, and we appreciate you sharing your culinary talents with us.
Your Role as a Chef
No entrance fee:
Your contribution of a delicious entrée or dessert is what makes this competition possible, and we’re grateful for your involvement.
Dish selection:
Prepare an entrée or dessert representing your country or a country of your choice.
Event Details & Requirements
Serving Size:
Prepare 200 to 250 bite-sized servings. Each portion should be no larger than one or two bites—just enough to give attendees a wonderful taste of your dish.
Recipe Confirmation:
Please confirm your recipe by
Tuesday, April 1st
so we can prepare signage for your table.
Serving Needs:
We will provide:
(1) Wire chafing dish basket frame
(1) Full-size steam pan filled with water (for warming)
(2) Pan inserts (if needed)
(2) Chafing dish fuel cans
Napkins, utensils, plates, or cups for serving
You should bring:
Your dish heated (if it’s a hot dish)
Any serving utensils you need
Any condiments required for your dish
Event Schedule
Arrival & Setup:
All chefs must arrive by 1:00 PM for setup and instructions.
Chef Sampling:
Before the event begins, chefs will have the opportunity to sample each other's dishes.
Service Begins:
2:00 PM sharp (Guests often arrive early, so please be on time.)
